Standardised Tariff Structure Across Port Operations
Schedule I – Definitions and Port Dues
- 1) All charges will be charged at the notified wherever mentioned in US Dollars, the same are to be collected in INRs at exchange rate (TT Selling) notified by STATE BANK OF INDIA, KAKINADA Branch on the day of vessel’s berthing/day of operation.
- 2) When/if exchange rates are not available on Saturday, Sunday, Holidays the currency exchange rate on preceding day will be applicable.
- 3) All central and state taxes which are applicable from time to time are in addition to the rates mentioned herein, unless specifically inclusion is mentioned.
- 4) As and when long term contracts /special contracts entered with KSPL expire and the services are continued with mutual consent in which case the existing contract rates are chargeable till such time of mutually agreed rates comes into force. For those services under the contract which are also mentioned in the prevailing tariff are to be considered with reference to rates under the expired contract and prevailing tariff and the higher of the rates prevails till such time new mutually agreed rates comes into force.
- 5) All charges are to be paid in advance and for any delayed payments beyond one week from date of invoice will be charged Interest @ 24% per Annum.
In this tariff note following terminology where ever it appears mean:
(a) Under “Non Cargo Vessel” where ever a vessel calling for bunkers, fresh water, under water surveys, Crew embarkation/disembarkation, Provisions, Statutory clearances, Landing sick person, to be treated as a normal call of any vessel dealt under Schedule-IV.
(b) “KDWP Main Jetty” means the 1910 Meters Quay wall with existing berths and other contiguous berths.
(c) “OSV jetties” means the Two finger jetties constructed north of KDWP main jetty along with OSV diaphragm wall next to finger Pier -2 & NRW Main Jetty berth.
(d) “ NRW Multipurpose berth” – i) Unit-1: North ii) Unit-1: South iii)Unit-2 iv) Unit-3 are part of KDWP and operations at these berths to the extent of Cargo & OSV operations are governed by prevailing KSPL tariff. For any other operation the tariff is to be applicable as decided by KSPL.
(e) “NRW Multipurpose Berth Extension Mooring Dolphins”: Two Mooring Dolphins East of NRW Multipurpose berth.
(f) “R&D Yard” means the open yards on west side of ADB road in front of main gate being operated by KSPL.
(g) “KDWP” means the port area encompassing KDWP Main Jetty, OSV Jetties, OSV diaphragm wall, NRW Multipurpose berth & along with extension mooring dolphins with associated backup area & R&D yards, berths, navigational channel & its anchorages.
(h) Tariff applicable for vessels calling at KDWP for repairs at the repair terminal of NRW Multipurpose berth with extension mooring dolphins & Floating Dry-dock will be notified separately.
(i) Tariff applicable for Mechanized handling of Coal & Fertilizers will be notified separately.
(j) The tariff applicable for EXIM cargoes of Containers will be notified separately.
A. PORT DUES
SCHEDULE – I
a. All Foreign going / Coastal vessels
1 OSVs / Non cargo vessels
a) Upto 30,000 GT – USD 0.936/GT
b) Above 30,000 GT – USD 0.965/GT
2 Bulk / Break bulk / Liquid / General / Container vessels/ LNG vessels
a) Upto 30,000 GT – USD 0.543/GT
b) Above 30,000 GT – USD 0.582/GT
NOTE:
1) The charges shall be collected on the gross tonnage (GT) and fraction of half a ton and more, being counted as one and less than half a ton neglected. In case of vessels having SBT, Reduced Gross Tonnage (RGT) as mentioned in Tonnage certificate is counted.
2) Vessels entering in ballast shall be charged at 75% of the rates indicated above as otherwise applicable.
3) Vessels entering the port for the purpose of repairs, bunkering and fresh Water but not discharging or taking in any cargo or passengers there in (with the exception of such un- Shipment and re-shipment as may be necessary for the purpose of repair) shall pay full Port dues as per the notified rates.
4) Port Dues are charged per call of vessel calling KDWP.
5) Port Clearance amendment charges are Rs. 3,748/- per amendment.
Schedule – II Pilotage
PILOTAGE
A.PILOTAGE- All Foreign going/Coastal vessels:
The fees for the pilotage mentioned under this schedule is for each Entry of Berthing & Un-berthing.
(i) OSVs/Non cargo vessels
a) Upto 30,000 GT – USD 1.077/GT
b) Above 30,000 GT – USD 1.266/GT
(ii) Bulk / Break bulk / Liquid / General / Container vessels / LNG vessels
a) Upto 30,000 GT – USD 1.468/GT
b) Above 30,000 GT – USD 1.649/GT
1. Pilotage is compulsory for all vessels
2. The pilot is required to be booked 2 hours in advance for the movement of vessels. The above procedure is applicable to all inward and outward movement of vessels.
3. The rates in the schedule are subject to a minimum of USD 6,480/- for using pilot and Tug/Tugs and USD 3,242/- for Pilotage where no tug or tugs are required in respect of all vessels to be paid. The decision of using tug/tugs rests at the discretion of KSPL only.
4. In case an existing ‘Import call vessel’ is converted into an ‘Export call vessel’ and ‘Export
call vessel’ commences loading while alongside berths without shifting to anchorage then ‘Export call vessel’ will be charged at 50% of Pilotage charges as under Item –A (2).
If the said ‘Export call vessel’ seeks shifting from ‘berth to berth before commencement
of loading’ then one shifting ‘from berth to berth’ will be exempted.
Explanation: In the Schedule
“Entry” means the cycle of a vessel entering through the channel from the Fairway Buoy and leaving off channel and Fairway Buoy once.
B) Detention Charges:
1. If the vessel is not ready to sail or shift/enter after pilot boards the vessel, the detention charges shall be levied at the rate of USD 561/- for the first half an hour thereafter USD 1,122/- per hour or part thereof.
C) Pilot / Movement Cancellation Charges:
1. Cancellation for pilot/movement of vessels shall have to be done 1 hour in advance.
2. In all situations of cancellation in accordance with Item-1 above shall be charged a cancellation charge of USD 2,536/- per each cancellation of movement in addition to detention charges as applicable, if any.
3. In all other situations where cancellation is falling outside the scope of Item-1 above, will attract Pilotage charges in full as per Schedule-II-A: Pilotage above.
D) Cold Movement:
1. Cold Movement is defined as Carrying out berthing/ un-berthing/ shifting when main engines not functioning are treated as cold move. In a case where the main engine fails in middle of a movement then the same is treated as cold movement and in all ‘Cold Move’ cases the charges are “Double” to that of charge under “Schedule- II: Pilotage which is considered with a slab of tugs usage limited to one hour during the move.
2. Should the actual usage of tugs during the move exceed beyond one hour then for the Tug towage time beyond initial one hour permitted is to be charged as per the charges under “Schedule-V: A)Towage charges”.
Schedule -III - A.Berth Hire Charges For Vessels
(a) All Foreign going / Coastal vessels Per GRT Per day of 24 hrs subject to a
a) Upto 30,000 GT – USD 0.228/GT
b) Above 30,000 GT – USD 0.238/GT
Minimum charge of USD 647/- per vessel per day.
NOTE:
1) A minimum charge for 24 hrs for all vessels stay alongside berths, is applicable as per the above rates. For stay beyond 24 hrs, every eight hours or part thereof is counted as a shift and charged at the rate of one third to that of charges as applicable and stated above as a shift charge.
2) Where a vessel is allotted a berth on priority / special basis, time to stay alongside berth shall be stipulated by KSPL. All such vessels are required to pay priority berth hire charges, which are double to that of the normal berth hire charges or as decided by the KSPL from time to time.
a) In case of ousting priority granted to any vessel (by way of any special arrangement or as decided by KSPL), the berth hire charges are four times to that of normal berth hire charges.
b) All shifting charges of the disturbed vessel shall be to the account of the vessel, which is given Ousting priority. These premium service vessel related charges override all long term/special Contracts/ arrangements entered/to be entered with KSPL, unless specified particularly in their Agreements.
3) KSPL shall stipulate a specified period (fixed) for every vessel for cargo handling or operations alongside the berth based on performance norms annexed to this tariff. Any overstay beyond the specified period without valid reason to the satisfaction of KSPL, is charged overstay berth hire charge at two times to that of normal berth hire charge as applicable for the period of overstay.
4) For Tankers Berthing, Loading/Discharging and Un-Berthing at KDWP within a period of stay less than 24 hours are not to be charged any Overstay berth Hire charges. The Item -3 above shall be applied only in case of stay beyond 24 hours at Berth.
5) Vessel which continues to occupy the berth in the port for more than two hours after completion of cargo operations without permission of KSPL, is liable to be charged an additional berth hire charges at the rate of USD 900/- per hour or part thereof.
6) Ships carrying Naphtha are chargeable double berth hire.
7) Day shall be reckoned as twenty-four hours from the time mooring at a berth is completed. The official berthing and sailing time shall be confirmed by KSPL. No import / export cargo is permitted for handling at “ROADS” while the ship is allotted a berth in KDWP except in special circumstances with prior permission from KSPL.
8) During course of cargo operations in the KDWP in respect of export/import cargoes, the Importers/Exporters (Receivers/Shippers) or their agents as the case may be, shall ensure that no cargo falls into the navigational waters, failing which the penalty as levied by KSPL based on port norms & circular issued from time to time will have to be borne by the respective handling agents of importers &/or exporters.
9) While vessel carrying Ammonia cargo is at berth, charges for standby pilot are charged from berthing till un-berthing at USD 944/- for 24 hours.
10) For vegetable oil / POL Barge calling at KDWP, a channel fee of Rs.27,551/- per call is chargeable.
11) A permissible vessel LOA is upto 295 meters & Beam of 45 Meters, Subject to relevant Port Circular on Berth norms permitted from time to time.
B.SHIFTING CHARGES:
a) Shifting berth to berth:
1. All vessels:
a) Without Tug(s) &without Pilot : USD 601/-
b) Without Tug(s) & with Pilot : USD 2,032/-
c) With Tug(s) & With Pilot :
i) With Vsl upto 10,000 GRT : USD 3,692/-
ii) With Vsl above 10,000GRT: USD 5,684/-
b) Shifting berth to anchorage or vice versa (one movement):
1. Vessels are charged at 50% rates as applicable under Schedule-II –A- i, under chapter “Pilotage”.
Note:
1) No charges shall be levied for shifting a vessel for the convenience of the port, within KDWP.
2) Shifting of the vessel includes mooring, un-mooring with the use of one or two tugs subject to levy of tug hire charges in case additional tugs usage at the discretion of KSPL is charged as per Schedule-V.
3) In all case of doubts as to whether the charges as mentioned above are leviable or not, or classification of the above description, the decision of KSPL is final.
Schedule -IV - OSVs/Non - Cargo Vessels
All services rendered like trucks, forklifts, cranes and any other mechanical equipment provided by port or through its service providers usage is mandatory according to the rates decided.
A. Charges for OSVs at OSV Jetties (1, 3, 4 & 6) for the purpose of ‘Exploration & Production’ activities
For call of OSV’s rates at OSV Jetties -1, 3, 4 & 6, for the purpose of ‘Exploration & Production’ activities will be dealt under Schedule-VIII and rates will be offered on request case to case basis.
B. Charges for OSVs other than the purpose of ‘Exploration & Production’ as mentioned (A) above & Non-cargo vessels calling at KDWP main jetties, D-wall and NRW Multipurpose berth:
Non cargo vessels / OSVs other than the purpose of ‘Exploration & Production’ as mentioned (A) above & Non cargo vessels calling at KDWP main jetties, D-wall and NRW Multipurpose berth are charged as under: Calling at KDWP main jetties are charged as under:
1.1 Port dues – As applicable under Schedule – I – A (1)
1.2 Lump sum charges Pilotage & Berthing USD 10,155/- per call of 24 hours and at one third rate thereon for 8 hrs. Shift.
1.3 Wharfage – As applicable under Schedule – VII
1.4 When a ‘Non- Cargo Vessel’ is used for services of Crew Embarkation/ disembarkation then it is to be charged as Lumpsum charges of ‘Pilotage & Berth Hire as under:
i) Non- Cargo Vessel – of : USD 3,543/- per call of 24 hrs. and LOA Up to 40 Meters at one third rate thereon for 8 hrs. shift
ii) Non- Cargo Vessel – of : @ 50% discounted rate under Item B LOA above 40mtrs and upto 90 mtrs. (1.2) above
All other rates, terms and conditions remain the same.
Note: For special category of vessels/requirements – Refer Schedule – VIII.
C. Charges for Usage of Mobile Silos
For usage of Mobile silos to carry bulk barites, cement & bentonite within KDWP from fixed silos to OSV for supply a user charge of Rs. 7,200/- per Trip is applicable.
Note:
a) A trip means movement of mobile silo in load condition in one direction and empty in return direction. If mobile silo moves in load condition in both directions, then it is counted as two trips.
b) The quality & quantity of cargo carried is to the account of party ordering the usage and usage of mobile silos is limited to carriage between the stations and manpower assistance for hose connections and delivery.
D. Navy & Coast Guard Vessels calling at KDWP
1. For Navy / Coast Guard vessels of LOA (length over all) upto 90 meters calling at KDWP port is chargeable for channel usage, tugs, navigational support & Berth hire at a lumpsum rate of INR 1,99,500/- for every 24 Hours and at one third rate per eight hours shift thereon.
2. For Navy / Coast Guard vessels of LOA (length over all) above 90 meters calling at KDWP port is chargeable for channel usage, tugs, navigational support & Berth hire at a lumpsum rate of INR 2,99,250 for every 24 Hours and at one third rate per eight hours shift thereon.
3. Pilot services, if required for each entry (Inward & Outward) is chargeable at Rs. 1,15,500 /-
E. Charges for call of Tug for carrying out ‘Bollard Pull test’:
1. For any Tug calling at KDWP and intends to avail the facilities at KDWP to carryout ‘Bollard Pull Test’ shall be attended through Marine team of KSPL.
2. The location for ‘Bollard Pull test’ will be allotted by Marine department after their due diligence and evaluation done subject feasibility & availability at port
3. The Tug calling for ‘Bollard Pull Test’ will attract the following charges as under:
3.1. Port Dues : as applicable under Schedule-I (A-1)
3.2. Lump sum charges Pilotage & Berthing: Rs. 2,35,620/- per call of 16 hours (2 Shifts) will be charged minimum. It will be charged extra shift of 8 hrs @ Rs. 1,17,810/- shift.
3.3. Wharfage : As applicable Minimum Wharfage will be applicable under Schedule – VII.
Note:
a) The above charges will apply for call of Tug exclusively for ‘Bollard Pull test’ only and Tug will not be carrying out any other activities &/or of cargo handling activities during the call.
b) In case the call of Tug involves ‘Bollard Pull test’ and also other activities &/or of cargo handling activities during the call then the charges will be applicable as per Schedule-IV – (B).
Schedule IX – Railway Charges
1. All rail users of KSPL are charged
a) @ Rs2492/- per 8 wheeler wagon for Bulk/Bagged/General cargoes operating from hard surface sidings at KSLK.
b) @ Rs. 2844/- per 8 wheeler wagons for Bulk/Bagged cargo operating from Concrete siding at North of Spur-2 of KSLK, Except Bagged Fertilizer & Rice Grain cargoes.
2. The In-motion weighbridge operation is governed by prevailing railway norms/circulars for Weighment, weight adjustment, Re-Weighment, demurrage charges, shunting engine charges, detentions etc…and costs associated are to be borne by railway users (co-users).
3. The users are to make suitable arrangements to unloading/loading the wagons within the free time allowed by Railways. Over and above the free time, demurrage charges for detention are payable as per the Railway Rules.
4. The users wishing to utilize the siding will have to give volumes commitment letter along with interest free deposit of Rs. 10.00 Lakhs as security deposit for the duration of the commitment offered by the party before filing ‘co-user’ application with Port & Railways.
5. KSPL reserves the right to adjust all or any dues from the security deposit of the user concerned.
6. KSPL will act on behalf of Railways to the extent authorized by the railways and enforce all the prevailing rules, regulations and procedures of the Indian Railways.
Schedule V – Towage and Other Equipment Hire
1) Towage charges for a tug of 3001 H.P and above is chargeable at USD 7968/- for the first two hours and thereafter for every additional hour or part thereof at the rate of USD 3984shall be payable.
NOTE: Tugs should be operated within Kakinada Port Limits only.
B.LAUNCH CHARGES
Hire Charges for the pilot Launch at the rate of USD 318for first two hours or part thereof and at the rate of USD 159 per every additional hour or part thereof, shall be charged.
NOTE: 1.Service is available during 0600 hours to 1800 hours within Kakinada port limits.
C. MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT:
All services rendered like trucks, forklifts, cranes and other mechanical equipment provided by port or through its service providers usage is mandatory according to the rates decided.
I. FORK LIFTS HIRE CHARGES:
(i) Capacity of upto 3.0 tons…… Rs.1,544/- per hour or part thereof subject to a minimum charge of Rs.7,720/-
(ii) Capacity of above 3.0 tons and upto 5.0 tons…… Rs. 2,205/- per hour or part thereof subject to a minimum charge of Rs.11,025/-
Schedule VI – Fresh Water and Storage Fee
A. CHARGES FOR SUPPLY OF WATER TO VESSELS:
Supply of fresh water to the ships at berth USD 9.597/-per 1000 liters subject to minimum supply of 50 Mts.
Note:
Service charges equivalent to 50% of the charges prescribed for supply of Water shall be levied on the water requisitioned and not taken by vessels provided the quantity not taken is more than 10% of the quantity requisitioned by the vessel.
B. STORAGE CHARGES FOR CARGOES:-
i. Covered space next to Docks/jetties…100 Sq. Mtr per fortnight or part thereof @ Rs. 17,801/- and thereafter @ Rs. 35,603/- from second fortnight onwards.
ii. Covered space behind Docks/jetties…100 Sq. Mtrs is @ Rs. 34131/- per month or part thereof.
iii) Open space next to docks/jetties for Bulk/General cargo …100 Sq. Mtr per fortnight or part thereof @ Rs. 5855/- and thereafter @ Rs. 11710/- from second fortnight onwards.
iv) Open space behind docks/jetties of North, Middle, South, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth & Seventh berths (i.e. the land available between west side of these berths till East side of ADB road) for bulk cargoes is @ Rs. 70/- Sq. Mtr per month or part thereof, upto stacking level of 5Ts per Square Meter.
v) Open space behind docks/jetties of North, Middle, South, Fourth, Fifth & Sixth berths (i.e. the land available between west side of these berths till East side of ADB road) for General cargo other than offshore material is @ Rs. 86/- Sq. Mtrs per month or part thereof.
vi) Open space outside (i.e. the land available in R&D Yard on west side of ADB road) for bulk cargoes is @ Rs. 40/- Sq. Mtr per month or part thereof.
vii) Open space outside (i.e. the land available in R&D Yard on west side of ADB road) for general cargoes other than offshore material is @ Rs. 61/- Sq. Mtr per month or part thereof.
viii) Open space for Off shore material within port other than next to Docks/jetties is Rs. 111/- Sq. Mtr per month or part thereof.
ix) Open space outside (i.e. the land available on west side of ADB road) for Utilities where the temporary structures are constructed by port users for purposes other than offshore material is @ Rs. 40/- Sq. Mtr per month or part thereof.
x) Concrete Open yard space for Bulk/Break bulk cargoes other than offshore cargoes inside Port area (other than Jetty areas) is @ Rs. 128/- Sq. Mtr per month or part thereof, upto stacking level of 5Ts per Square Meter.
xi) Concrete Open yard space for offshore cargoes inside Port area (other than Jetty areas) is @ Rs. 195/- Sq. Mtr per month or part thereof, upto stacking level of 5Ts per Square Meter.
Note: All Storage Areas being allotted to customers are to be invoiced in advance of the month.
NOTE:
1. Fortnight means a period of fifteen days and a month means 30 days.
2. Allocation/allotment of areas either covered/open inside docks or outside the docks is purely based on availability and at the discretion of KSPL. The minimum chargeable period of license fee payable is 15/30 days as detailed in tariff head even when the occupation is less than a fortnight/month as applicable above.
3. Any occupation of areas without valid permission in writing from KSPL is to be treated as unauthorized occupancy and is subject to penal charges as leviable by KSPL.
4. For delayed payments beyond KSPL norms, KSPL reserves the right to levy penal charges and impose penal interest for outstanding amounts.
5. In all cases of delayed clearance of cargo, KSPL reserves the right to levy penal License fee for storage of cargoes and additional Penalty charges in additional to expenses for shifting/removal etc.
C) Lien on Cargoes/Goods:
1. KSPL shall have lien on the goods for the recovery of rentals/any other charges.
2. KSPL reserves the right to evacuate any stacking area by giving seven days’ notice. In the event of the occupant not vacating the land after due notice, KSPL shall make arrangements confiscate/to shift the cargo to another location anywhere, at the cost and risk of the occupant.

NOTE:
- Minimum cargo Wharfage of Rs. 37,802/- will be charged for any vessel (Self-propelled or otherwise) irrespective of handling of cargo.
- If the liquid cargo is discharged / loaded other than the existing pipeline laid in the port, an additional 40% of the Wharfage value is charged.
- For usage of vegetable oil common corridor pipe lines laid at KDWP, usage charges of Rs. 77/- Kilo Liters is to be paid by agents along with Import/Export application.
- For all pipe lines of POL/Fertilizer raw materials laid by customers into KDWP for handling liquid cargo import/export a throughput charges of Rs. 22.00/-Kilo Liters is to be paid by agents along with Import/Export application.
- For port users entering port for various services as of ship chandling, supplies to vessel etc. (Port users having Export/Import cargoes procedures are not covered under this clause) will have to pay service charge of Rs. 3696/- per permission /Shipping bill/Bill of Entry to be considered during the call of vessel at KDWP i.e During the vessel’s Period of stay from Entry to Clearance at KDWP only.
- Cess for Pollution control measures is charged at Rs.5/- M. Ton of bulk cargo handled.
- Special Activity charges for supply of chemicals like PPD to OSVs at KDWP is Rs. 220/- per KL and part thereof.
- Whenever more than one unit of measurement is given, the unit more favorable to KSPL will apply.
- The decision of KSPL is final on the matter of classification of goods
Schedule VIII – Special Cargoes & Vessels
A. Special Vessels with Cargoes & Services:
Any type of special vessels/crafts as of FPSO/RIGS/Drill ships, Vessels etc.. requiring services from port other than regular cargo loading/unloading and have different requirements/services are to be planned at port, for which the rates for port call will be decided by KSPL in consultation with under a separate agreement/MOU to be entered by both parties.
A. Schedule X – Registration / Entry & Other Activities at KDWP
(a) Registration fee for stevedoring – Rs. 21,000/- Valid for 4 years with security deposit of Rs. 42,000/- and thereafter fee of Rs. 21,000-/- for renewal for a period of 4 years in the KDWP.
(b) Registration fee for undertaking steamer Agency (ASA/ ASC under SCMTR 2018) – Rs. 21,000/- for a period of 4 years with interest free security deposit of Rs. 42,000/- and thereafter fee for renewal Fee of Rs. 21,000/- and valid for 4 years.
(c) Registration fee for undertaking clearing/forwarding works is of Rs. 21,000/- Period of 4 years with interest free security deposit of Rs42,000/- and thereafter fee of Rs. 21,000/- for renewal and valid for a period of 4 years.
(d) Registration fee for Ship Chandlers, Ship repairing/chipping and painting, Surveyors & other Services Rs. 21000/- Period of 3 years and thereafter fee for Rs. 21000/- for renewal for a period of three Years.
(B) FEES FOR ENTRY VEHICLES INTO KDWP (issued at Security gate):-
1. Light Motor vehicles like cars used by the Port users and not hired Vehicles for temporary use by the users – Passes issued at security gate free of charge on daily basis.
2. Hired vehicles like Taxies, Tourist cabs etc. – Rs. 50.00/- Per vehicle/day.
3. Vehicles for carrying cargo as of Trailers, Lorries, Dumpers etc.
a) Granite Trailers Less than 40` length – Rs. 100.00/- per Vehicle/day.
b) Granite Trailers Above 40’ length – Rs. 125.00/- per Vehicle/day
c) Trailers other than Granite Cargo – Rs. 100.00/- per Vehicle/day
d) Lorries, Dumpers etc. – Rs. 70.00/- per Vehicle/day
4. For Fork lifts, Cranes, Pay loaders & any other- Rs. 100.00/- Per vehicle/day.

(C) FEES FOR PHOTOGRAPHY/ ENTRY OF PERSONNEL INTO KDWP:-

a. Per Person /Day : Rs. 12.00
b. Per person/week : Rs. 60.00
c. Per Person/30 days. : Rs. 250.00
d. Issue of I.D. Passes/Person : Rs. 1,500.00 (Maximum valid for two years)
Note: Charges are inclusive of GST.
b) Photography

2) Videography permission charges…… Rs. 10,000/- per day
(D) WEIGHMENT CHARGES FOR USE OF WEIGH BRIDGE:-

2 For smaller vehicles – Fixed charges up to 15 MT Flat rate of Rs.60/- To be paid in advance
3 For smaller vehicles – Fixed charges above 15 MT Flat rate of Rs.120/- To be paid in advance
4 For Tractor/trailer – Other than Cargo vehicles – up to 15 MT Fixed charges Flat rate of Rs. 70/- To be paid in advance
5 For Tractor/trailer – Other than Cargo vehicles – above 15 MT Fixed charges Flat rate of Rs.140/- To be paid in advance

The decision of KSPL management is final in interpretation and clauses as above.
The decision of KSPL in the matter of applicability of the appropriate tariff for the services rendered shall be final and binding on both the parties and shall not be called in question by the vessel owner / cargo owner or charter.
No vessel shall be allowed to sail without clearing off the dues of KSPL in accordance with the invoices raised from time to time and without obtaining the ‘No Objection’ Certificate for sailing from KSPL.
KSPL shall have the lien over the cargo and also the vessel for unpaid charges in accordance with the tariff published as above.
The tariff may be revised from to time and the revised tariff shall be applicable and overrides the earlier tariff. The vessel owners are advised to check with KSPL for the latest tariff in force before opting to use the services of KSPL.
In case of dispute between the parties, the same shall be referred for Arbitration in accordance with the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and will be adjudicated by a sole arbitrator. The Sole Arbitrator shall be appointed by the Managing Director of KSPL and the other party consents to such appointment and further waives right to challenge the appointment procedure contemplated hereunder.
The seat of Arbitration shall be at Hyderabad, where the registered office of KSPL is situated and the Civil Courts in Hyderabad / Kakinada alone shall have jurisdiction to entertain applications under Sections 9 and 34 of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996.
The Hon’ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh shall have the admiralty jurisdiction with respect to common law rights of the vessels calling on port at Kakinada.
